The Crosswalk

This evening a friend sent me this series of pictures entitled "The Crosswalk." It is a wonderful story of how God is in complete control of our lives ~ and while we can't see the whole picture ~ thank God that He can!

The following inscription was at the bottom of the message ~

Whatever your cross,whatever your pain,
There will always be sunshine, after the rain
Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall
But God's always ready, to answer your call
He knows every heartache, sees every tear
A word from His lips, can calm every fear
Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night
But suddenly vanish, by dawn's early light
The Savior is waiting, somewhere above
To give you His grace, and send you His love.

When I was a teenager this story was a long poem which I had memorized and presented publicly in church. I'm so glad it is still around in ways that my grandchildren can understand.

Hello Cathryn, thanks for coming to my blog. I'm happy you were blessed by the devotion, I know that when God talks to my heart, I can use it, and tell others. It's how we spread our blessings :)

Have a blessed Sunday!

What a message! Oh that we would not be surprised at the trials we must face! It is the mercy and faithfulness of Jesus; surely He knows what we can and must bear to be made "perfect and entire in want for nothing." Thanks for the cartoon. Hardly laughable. God be with you sister.
